2022 schools calendar out

THE Government has today released the 2022 schools calendar which has 185 days of face-to-face lessons and no exeat weekends.

 

This marks the end of a long break that was necessitated by the Covid-19 pandemic.

 

The first term opens on Monday next week and closes on April 7, allowing 45 learning days.

 

The school holiday will have 26 days before the second term starts on May 3 with 69 days of learning.

 

The second term vacation has 30 days, with the third term commencing on September 5. It will run for 71 learning days.

 

The first term for 2023 starts on January 9.
