Sungura musician Herbert Majeke believes the year 2023 was a learning curve in his musical career.
He ended the year on a high note after launching his single Mapromise Zvikwereti.
The Takashinga Stars leader feels technology has taken over from the old ways of making money through selling of music and there is need to adapt to the modern technology.
“To me 2023 was a lesson since technology has dissolved other ways of selling music, for example selling a CD is no longer profitable.”
“As a way to learn I also worked with different artist from shooting videos to singing.
“I have been in constant touch with Leonard Zhakata, Nicholas Zakaria, Alick Macheso, Baba Harare, Andy Muridzo, Peter Moyo, Mark Ngwazi, Pengaudzoke and many others.
“I still want to learn from other musicians as well as understanding my fans on the type of music they want.
“I have since dropped a single Mapromise Zvikwereti and I want people to enjoy my music.”
