‘Speed up Tugwi-Mukosi masterplan’
Following the development of the Lake Tugwi-Mukosi Combination Masterplan by the Honourable Vice President, General (Rtd) Dr CGDN Chiwenga in his capacity as chairman of the Cabinet Committee on Food Security and Nutrition, and in view of the growing interest from a number of investors to commence major economic activities and investments around the lake, Cabinet directed that the implementation of the afore-mentioned masterplan be expedited under the Chairmanship of the Minister of Lands, Agriculture, Fisheries, Water and Rural Development in his capacity as Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet Committee on Food Security and Nutrition, in order for the project to gain the necessary traction. This is also because most issues relate to land, water, fisheries and related developments.
