2026 budget to be presented tomorrow

FINANCE, Economic Development and Investment Promotion Minister Professor Mthuli Ncube will tomorrow present the 2026 National Budget Statement at New Parliament Building in Mt Hampden.

Posting on its microblogging site, X, the ministry said this was in line with Section 305 (1) of the Constitution of Zimbabwe, which mandates the Finance Minister to table the National Budget before the Legislature.

“In accordance with Section 305(1) of the Constitution of the Republic of Zimbabwe, the Minister of Finance, Economic Development and Investment Promotion, Hon. Professor Mthui Ncube, will present the 2026 National Budget Statement to Parliament in Mt Hampden tomorrow afternoon,” the ministry said.

The budget announcement is expected to outline the Government’s spending priorities, revenue measures and economic targets for 2026, and will set the tone for policy direction in the coming fiscal year.
