28 more Covid-19 cases at Bonda

TWENTY eight more cases of Covid-19 have been detected after further testing and contact tracing at Bonda Mission to make a total of 145.

In his provincial health Covid-19 sub taskforce report, Manicaland provincial medical director Dr SimonNyadundu confirmed that the number of positive cases has risen to 145.

He said all positive cases are either mild or asymptomatic.

“28 more cases of Covid-19 were detected after further testing and contact tracing at Bonda Mission to make a total of 145. All the patients are either mild or asymptomatic and this why we have established a quarantine centre at the school. Only two patients who showed symptoms are isolated at the hospital. The 145 now also includes four staff members and four day scholars while the rest are boarders at the school,” said Dr Nyadundu.
