THREE people died on the spot while five others were injured in a horror road accident at the 48km peg along the Nyanga–Rwenya Road on Friday.

Police, on X, said the tragedy struck when an Isuzu KB single cab carrying seven passengers veered off the road, overturned and landed on its right side.

The bodies were taken to Nyanga District Hospital for post-mortem, while the injured are receiving treatment at the same hospital.
