HOLD onto your heels and dust off those vintage threads, ladies — Bulawayo’s most fabulous all-women’s affair just got a new date!

Doek and Slay vintage

The Doek and Slay extravaganza has been rescheduled to May 4, and it’s about to be bigger, bolder, and more blinged-out than ever before! The venue? None other than the iconic Zimbabwe International Exhibition Centre Main Arena.

Originally set for 27 April, the date shift means more time to slay — and more time to perfect those retro-chic outfits that will turn heads and break necks.

Doek n’ Slay

But Doek and Slay isn’t just about beats and beauty — it’s a full-blown celebration of sisterhood, empowerment, and unapologetic style.

This year’s edition comes draped in a Vintage theme, promising a heady mix of classic fashion and sizzling modern entertainment.

It’s a power-packed roster guaranteed to get hips shaking, hearts racing, and selfies snapping from all angles.
For years, Doek and Slay has reigned supreme as the ultimate ladies-only escape — a space where queens gather, connect, and uplift one another without the noise of mixed-gender distractions. It’s empowerment with an edge, fun with a purpose, and fashion with fierce flair.

Organisers say the new date gives fans more prep time — and judging by the buzz already flooding socials, this year’s edition could be the biggest yet.

So whether you’re a slay queen, a vintage vixen, or just looking for a day to vibe out with your girls in peace, 4 May is your runway. Grab those doeks. Rock those red lips. It’s time to slay and be seen.
