A LOCAL non-governmental organisation, 4-H Zimbabwe Foundation, is training Agritex officers from Chiwundura Rural District on climate-smart agriculture so that they impart the knowledge to farmers in their respective wards.

As part of the training, the 40 Agritex officers will receive tablets to use in capacitating farmers.

4 -H Zimbabwe recently launched a project that will see over 5 000 villagers benefitting from four solar-powered boreholes in the Chiwundura area, outside Gweru.

The Foundation launched a project titled, “Enhancing livelihoods through water-women-food nexus interventions,” that will be implemented in eight wards in Chiwundura.
