Starafrica makes executive appointments

Starafrica Corporation Limited chief executive officer Engineer Robson Nyabadza has retired from the firm effective March 31, 2024.

Eng Nyabadza spent seven years and nine months with the company, during which time he led various successful projects to enhance operational efficiency and quality standards.

M Formai Mashame Myambuki has since been appointed acting CEO effective April 1, 2024, the company said.

Formerly the Finance Director of Starafrica Corporation, Mr Myambuki is a Chartered Accountant with over 15 years of experience.

He holds a Bachelor of Accounting Sciences degree and postgraduate Diplomas in Accounting Sciences and Applied Accounting Sciences from the University of South Africa (UNISA).

 The firm added that Mr Dzingai Maworera took over the role of Finance Director and Company Secretary effective April 1, 2024.

Before this move, he was an Investment Principal at Takura Capital Partners (Private) Limited.

He has more than 15 years of experience in financial management in various companies.
