Fuel prices increase in local currency, remain unchanged in foreign currency

THE price of fuel has gone up marginally for both blend and diesel in local currency but remains the same in foreign currency.

In a public notice, the Zimbabwe Energy Regulatory Authority (Zera) said the prices will be effective from today.

Last month, the Zimbabwe Dollar price for diesel was $26 086, 51 and $25 933, 19 for blend.

The price for diesel is now $44 325, 83 and blend E15 is pegged at $44 689, 53

“Operators may sell petroleum products above the prescribed prices depending on their trading advantages and should display the prominent places as provided by the fuel pricing regulations,” read the statement.

“Stakeholders are advised that the petroleum price released by Zera can be verified on the Zera official website, Facebook and X (formerly Twitter).
