SHANGHAI-BASED Afropop musician, Tapiwanashe “5nine” Muzota, said his new body of work “Bindura Hunk” reflects his roots and identity.
He was born and raised in Bindura.
He said the EP marks a new chapter in his artistic journey, offering an intimate exploration of love, passion and connection.
The Bindura Hunk EP is a six-track collection of love songs unified under the mantra “a love portion.”
The Bindura Hunk EP comes a year after 5nine’s critically acclaimed Optimus Vibes EP, a project known for its uplifting and motivational tracks designed for celebrations and gatherings.
“While Optimus Vibes EP embodied energy and encouragement, Bindura Hunk EP ventures into deeply personal and emotional territory.
“This project is a heartfelt ode to love, perfect for listening with your love or simply in admiration of love’s many forms.”
The 30-year-old singer and songwriter says this year will be an even bigger year for his musical career.
“This EP represents who I am and what I love as an artist. It’s about reconnecting with myself and delivering something true to my heart.
“Naming it Bindura Hunk felt perfect because it reflects my roots and the love I have for creating music that resonates deeply.”
He featured collaborations with Odheyi, and T-KaSh Mbk.
“This project wouldn’t be complete without the people who were there from day one.
“It’s a love letter to my roots, my craft and my audience.
“The six tracks summarise my unique flavour of heartfelt storytelling and musical authenticity, offering a collection of songs that will leave listeners captivated and inspired,” he said.
