SOUTH Africa’s top Muffins group member, Muzi Mdlongwa, is joining up and coming Bulawayo-based Afro-music group, Pronix and Harmonic Rhythms.  The original group was made up of four artistes —Prosper Ndebele, Lungile Ndlovu, Nkosiphile Sibanda and Calvin Katongo.

“We have added a fifth member to our group, Muzi Mdlongwa who plays for the top SA group, Muffins. The founder of the Muffins, Mthandazo from Lobengula, is brother to him so we have a direct link. We are actually doing a photo-shoot with the Muffins sometime this month as a way of marketing our music genre to other places,” said Ndebele, the lead vocalist and lyricist.
Pronix and Harmonic Rhythms left fans begging for more when they performed last Friday at the launch of Njabulo Moyo’s second novel. They also performed at The Legends Party at a local joint on Saturday.
