70 new Covid-19 cases

FOR the second consecutive day, there were no Covid-19 related fatalities reported in Zimbabwe while 70 new positive cases were recorded with 50 of those coming from the country’s two epicentres, Harare and Bulawayo.

The Covid-19 death toll still stands 104 with the country having recorded a total of 4818 cases in total, 3170 of those are still active.

“Seventy new cases and no deaths were reported in the past 24 hours and all 70 cases are local cases. Active cases go up to 3170 with 20 new recoveries reported,” a daily covid-19 report from the Ministry of Health and Child Care read.

Bulawayo province has 1133 cumulative cases, with 456 active active and 654 recoveries. So far, 23 deaths have been recorded in the city.
