A 71-year-old man, who made headlines on Monday for running an illegal enterprise in which he made people pay money to secure jobs with the Harare City Council, has been granted bail.
Erasmus Chingarande, who initially appeared in court on Saturday and filed his bail application on Monday, has been granted US$50 bail.
Allegations are that Chingarande masqueraded as a former employee of Harare City Coundl Security Department and duped hundreds of desperate jobseekers of US$2 855.
He was ordered to return to court on February 6.
