A SEVEN-YEAR-OLD GIRL WITH AN AMAZING MUSICAL GIFT

SHE is only seven but she already has a stage name, Little Eliana, and she has an amazing gift.

Her real name is Eliana Taguta.

Through various platforms, she is now performing and attracting the attention of a growing army of followers.

Her father is Apostle Amos Taguta of Kuwadzana 5.

Her clip, singing “Mweya Mutsvene,” a song by The Unveiled Choral Group, has gone viral and reached more than 1.5 million views within two weeks on YouTube.

Apostle Taguta said he realised that his daughter had a special talent when she was just one-year-old.

“Eliana was born in 2017 and she is now doing Grade 3. We discovered her passion and talent for music when she was just one.

“She used to sing Takesure’s Zamar song ‘Agere Pachigaro’ before she was even able to call some names and produce a clear voice.

“It didn’t amaze us because her mother is a good singer with a fine voice too.

“Even at school, we are receiving some reports of her leading her colleagues in the choir, which made us proud of her.

“We have already started to nurture and support her with the little resources that we have,” he said.

Soon after the clip went viral, Josh Mtima’s group visited Eliana’s family in Kuwadzana, where she surprised them by singing all of their songs, including “Ndikhokhele.”

This development led The Unveiled to invite her to their album launch held in Harar.

She also shared the stage with them when they were performing “Mweya Mutsvene.”

“She has already found a manager who is now working with her professionally, arranging shows and interviews. She is going to perform in various shows lined up for her before the year ends,” said Apostle Taguta.
