A1 Permit Special Features

  • Full land ownership
  •  Can be used as collateral when borrowing
  •  Guarantees land right over indefinite period
  •  Rights to use land for agriculture, pastoral and residential purposes
  •  Permit is subject to laws of inheritance
  •  Permit may be amended to include new spouses
  •  Ministry can cancel permit if holder no longer wishes to farm or sub-lets property
  •  Beneficiaries should be above 21 years old
