About Proplastics

Proplastics Limited, (formerly a subsidiary of Murray and Roberts and later Masimba Holdings Limited) is the only Zimbabwean plastic pipes and fittings manufacturer listed on the Zimbabwe Stock Exchange since 2015.

It has been the leading plastic pipe manufacturer since 1965 and has over half a century of experience as a specialist producer of Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC), High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE), Low-density Polyethylene (LDPE) pipes, and related fittings.

Kudakwashe Chigiya has been Proplastics Chief Executive Officer since May 29, 2015 and he holds a Diploma in Rubber and Plastics Technology and an MBA.

He started his career at Proplastics in 1993 as a Graduate Trainee in Plastics Technology rising through the ranks of Quality Controller, Quality Assurance Manager, and Technical Manager.

He left Proplastics for South Africa in 2003 to advance his career in Plastics Technology. Up to his appointment, he was employed at DPI Plastics as a Process Engineer for Quality and Technical management functions.

The company has been providing homes and industries within and across Zimbabwean borders with a complete range of high-performance piping solutions for application in irrigation, mining, civils, borehole casings, and cable ducting.

Over the years Proplastics Limited has evolved to become the brand that can be trusted through its unrelenting pride in meeting the highest regional and international standards in manufacturing processes.
