Acaja Chillspot revamps, curates Valentine’s Day event

AFTER changing the local entertainment scene last year, an enchanted land, tucked away in the Bhekeni Luthi area B of Ntabanzinduna, Acaja Chillspot has revamped itself, improving its services for fun lovers.

Located 33km away from the hustle and bustle of the city of Bulawayo, Acaja Chillspot has the potential to become the ultimate adventure hub for fun lovers in and around the area.

In tandem with the month of love, the establishment will curate a couples outing to rekindle the romantic flame amongst lovers on February 15 as part of Valentine’s Day celebrations.

In an interview with Chronicle Showbiz, Acaja Chillspot Founder and Director, Abednico Dube had a message for lovers.

“Love is not love until you give it away, love is great when its celebrated. The Bible in 1 Corinthians 13v4-7 says ‘Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.”

“In the background of high divorces in Zimbabwe coupled with high suicide rates, this outing is meant to resuscitate some dying flames of love and give hope to those that feel or believe there is no true love. On the 15th of February you’ll get to know more about your partner, Acaja will make you learn more about the person you are living with or the person you are intending to live with.

“The reason why people fight a lot in marriages is because they are living with strangers, Acaja is trying by all means to make relationships stronger and make you live with a friend in a relaxed environment.

“We encourage couples and would be couples not to miss out on these kind of events since they bring a bond to most families,” he explained.

Apart from the romantic getaway, lovers will enjoy other diverse activities including swimming and the newly-introduced speed bikes, beach volleyball , basketball, mini golf, snooker, slug, darts, chess, draft, table tennis, moonwalk, photo shoot, and braai.

The couples will also get a chance to play intellectual and romantic games to strengthen their relationships.
