adminspokesperson Inspector Tedius Chibanda confirmed the arrest saying the former actor would appear in court soon on rape and sodomy charges. I can confirm that he is detained at a Police Station in connection with several counts of rape and sodomy.
There is suspicion that the man sexually abused his two girls aged 10 and 5 and a boy aged 4 after seperating with their mother. He will appear in court soon, said Insp Chibanda. Allegations are that the former actor had a misunderstanding with his wife sometime in October last year.
The wife left their matrimonial home leaving her three children in his custody.
It is alleged the man’s neigbours noticed some changes in the children’s behaviour and suspected that they were being sexually assaulted.
This went on for some time until one of the neigbours gathered courage and infomed a member of the neighbourhood watch committee who then made a police report.
During an interview by the police, the children opened up and admitted to have been assaulted by their father since last year.
