Popular actor Boniface “Muzukuru” Muropa of the “Landlord Nemaroja” drama fame has dropped a DVD album entitled “Zvakazoita”.
The DVD carries five songs “Chimwe Nechimwe”, “Mukoma Wangu”, “Sango”, “Mwanasikana” and “Ndichengeteiwo Mwari Baba.
In an interview, Muropa said he has not abandoned acting but he wants music and acting to complement each other.
“I am still into acting and we are currently working on episode four of our last offering “Vavakidzani”. We have discovered that when we do live performances children like our dramas more compared to the older audience. We want to cater for everyone and, just like Kapfupi, we decided to also do music,” he said.

Muropa said the main aim of the group is to educate people to live in harmony and to be satisfied with what they have.
The DVD was recorded at Diamond Studios and tracks “Chimwe neChimwe”, “Mwanasikana”, “Sango” and “Ndibatsireiwo”  focus on social issues that affect people in their daily living.

The singer said the challenges he faced in the process of recording the album made him to coin the album’s  title.
“It was very difficult for me to record this first product because l did not have enough money that was required but by the grace of God l finally managed to record and that is why called it “Zvakazoita” (it finally happened),”he said.

Muropa started singing as a way of entertainment in his dramas but discovered the potential he had and began to take that talent seriously. He is is following in  the footsteps of the likes of the late Safirio “Mukadota” Madzikatire and Freddy “Kapfupi” Manjalima to combine acting and music.
