NIGERIAN gospel musician, Ada Ehi, will kick off a gospel worship night at Harare International Conference Centre (HICC) on May 6.
The songstress will be performing in Zimbabwe for the second time.
Ada Ehi will be supported by local gospel artistes – Michael Mahendere, Janet Manyowa, Everton Mlalazi, Nyasha Mutonhori and the couple Sharon Ellard Cherayi.
Rainbow Tourism Group spokesperson Pride Khumbula said:
“She is an amazing talented artiste with a flourishing gift/career and we decided to bring her to minister to her local fan base as we believe she is loved by many.
“Our local artistes will get the chance to share the same stage with an internationally-acclaimed artist, create relationships, with opportunities for collaborations.
“This will help the local industry to grow and tap into the vast experience Ade brings with her.”
He added:
“Early bird tickets are now on sale and one can get them from The Rainbow Towers Hotel & Conference Centre, Med Orange Pharmacies, or The New Ambassador Hotel.
“Fans seem to have an appetite for the event and we are happy with the ticket sales so far.”
Khumbula said they are working closely with the police to ensure everything will go according to plan on the day.
“We are working with relevant authorities such as ZRP, we will do all we can to make sure that we provide a safe environment for gospel music lovers to come and enjoy.
“Events Evolution will be doing the stage and they have the best reputation in bringing quality and professional productions, their past events are a testament to their capability.
“We are working with her management team to explore other activities which include an artist meet-and-greet and explore other activities we can have.”
Ada last visited Zimbabwe in 2017 when she performed at the National Sports Stadium as part of Pastor Chris Oyakhilome’s entourage for the Global Worship and Communion Service.
