Afcon round of 16 dates and times

THE last 16 of the Africa Cup of Nations teams have been finalised after the last round of matches on Wednesday night and have made it to the knockout stage.

Equatorial Guinea, Cape Verde, defending champions Senegal, Angola, Mali, Morocco, Nigeria, Egypt, Cameroon, Burkina Faso, South Africa and Democratic Republic of Congo automatically made it out of their groups.

Hosts Ivory Coast, Guinea, Namibia and Mauritania made it to the round of 16 as the best placed third placed teams in their respective groups.

This is after the 24 teams were split into six groups of four, with the top two in each group and the four best-ranked third-placed sides advancing to the last 16.
