Afrofusion artist, Tsungai Tsikirai’s album “African Queen” is set for release on January 4 at Jasen Mphepo Little Theatre, Eastlea, Harare.
The album carries eight songs which are a blend of traditional African rhythms and contemporary musical influences.

The songstress said the project showcases her versatility as an artist and her deep connection to cultural roots.
She said the project promises to be a celebration of African culture, showcasing the rich tapestry of rhythms, melodies, and stories that have been passed down through generations.

Tsungai said the album aims to take her artistry to new heights, blending traditional African instruments with contemporary production techniques to create a unique and captivating sonic experience.
In 2016, she released her debut album, “Rova Ngoma,” which has gained significant traction, with its infectious beats and powerful lyrics celebrating the resilience and strength of African women.
In addition to her musical talents, Tsungai is widely recognised for her advocacy work and commitment to promoting cultural diversity and empowering women through the arts.
Her “Breaking Boundaries” concert series has become a platform for celebrating women in music and fostering a sense of community and inclusivity.
