BUSINESSMAN Blessing Togarepi’s estranged wife Natasha reached out to him on Wednesday.
This followed the story published by H-Metro in which he pleaded for her to return home with their child.
She, however, blocked his number soon after their conversation.
Blessing said he experienced short-lived happiness after H-Metro’s story resulted in Natasha calling and speaking to him.
It was the first time they had done so in TWO years.
“I am happy that I managed to talk to my wife after a long struggle to communicate with her.
“I want to thank H-Metro because, after a long struggle trying to reach out to her, she came through.
“The story pushed her to communicate with me.
“She unblocked me after the story and we talked and I am trying to convince her to agree that we go and see a pastor for counselling.”
He added: “I will continue looking for her nenzira dzese dzandingagone nekuti tichiri nyama imwechete.
“Muchato uchiripo and I have to honour our vows.”
Blessing said Natasha blamed him for looking for her on social media.
He circulated a message on social media pleading for anyone who knows Natasha, and his child’s whereabouts, to contact him.
Blessing and Natasha’s marriage collapsed two weeks after their wedding.
She vanished from their matrimonial home with their son in 2021.
Blessing revealed that he had paid US$18 000 lobola for Natasha.
This was followed by a lavish wedding.
