ZIFA Northern Region Division One log leaders Agama coach Arthur “Tuts” Tutani has remained composed despite leading the race.

In their last game, he felt they should have done better by utilising all their chances but was happy that they picked up all three points.

“It was a good game we played well, although we missed a lot of chances. It is good that we collected maximum points which is vital when you are in the championship race.

“I am thankful to Supafix for the support. The league is still in its infancy, but we have a competitive side that is full of depth,” said Tutani.

Agama took their points to 28 and are a single point ahead of N’ombeyaora, who are second. Another title contender Zambezi, were shocked to 1-0 by Shamva.

The team went on to suspend coach Ralph Kawondera whom they accuse of insubordination.

In a letter, Zambezi secretary general said Kawondera has been suspended pending investigations.

“Kindly be informed that Zambezi Coal and Gas have resolved to suspend Ralph Kawondera as head coach and all other activities of the team with immediate effect pending investigations.

“You are suspended because of insubordination, intimidation of players, gross incompetence, wilful misconduct and nepotism, you are requested not to interfere with investigations and kindly surrender all club properties in your possession to the team,” they stated.
