Agga Nyabinde says he will not give up until he penetrates the international market.
Following on the success of his album Kufara Kweumwe, Agga is set to record his first live DVD to sell to the international market on May 24.
The live recording is Agga’s way to serenade fans who cannot get enough of him.
Agga said his aim is to bring inspiring music to thousands of his devoted fans locally and internationally.
“The size of this production and the fact that we are about to make history is part of my mission for this recording.
“I want to capture the experience pf my shows through the eyes of my fans locally and internationally,” he said.
Agga, who is the son of veteran jazz crooner Bob Nyabinde, said his next album is going to represent years of musical growth.
He promised to create a unique and memorable sound that will instantly stand out from the clutter of most modern music.
“This one will have some songs from my previous albums. I am also working on my 2023 album titled Honai to be released in the last quarter of this year.
“The album is going to have eight tracks and the live recording will have 10 tracks.
“Our major challenge in the industry is commercialising our work. With the absence of record bars and the evolution of technology, we are relying on international digital music distributors to sell our music online.
“The main objective of our DVD is to sell our live act to the international market. Most people may have come across our recorded song, but they do not know how we perform so we have taken this opportunity to give them a feel of what a live show with Agga Nyabinde is like,” he said.
