AFRO-fusion artist Agga Nyabinde, son of the late musician Bob Nyabinde, has dedicated three songs to the memory of his father.
The songs, “Garai Neni”, “Samatenga”, and “Chisingaurai” are part of the youthful musician’s new 11-track album titled “Honai.”
The new album is set to be launched in Harare on April 30.
“Honai” is Nyabinde’s fourth album.
The 2 Nice Band frontman said he was often under pressure to reach or even surpass the level achieved by his late father.
“My father achieved a lot and at times, fans expect a lot from me. I have been around for the past five years and I think I have stood the test of time,” he said.
Victor Kunonga and Selmor Mtukudzi are some of the artists expected to perform during the album launch.
