Agric graduates keen to work with Govt

Agricultural graduates have pledged to work with the Government in policy formulation and implementation to boost productivity to ensure national food security and employment creation.

This came out when representatives from the Coalition of Agricultural Graduates of Zimbabwe (CAGOZ) met senior officials from the Ministry of Lands, Agriculture, Water, Climate and Rural Resettlement to strategise on how best the two parties could partner to transform the agriculture sector.

CAGOZ representatives were drawn from all the country’s provinces.

Presenting their case, CAGOZ representatives said they were concerned that there was over 35 000 agricultural graduates in the country who had the skills and technical expertise, but were not being involved in agricultural policy formulation and implementation.
