AT last, a Dynamos striker finally registered a goal in the Castle Lager Premiership after 13 rounds of fixtures.
Frank Agyemang broke the curse when they suffered a 1-2 loss at the hands of Ngezi Platinum at Baobab on Saturday.
This leaves Dynamos with nine points, just two points ahead of Kwekwe United, who are rooted at the bottom of the league table.
It was Saul Chaminuka’s second game in charge of the Glamour Boys and he went into this fixture on the back of a 1-1 draw recorded last week against CAPS United.
This was also the second time on the bounce that Dynamos have surrendered a lead having done the same against Makepekepe last week.
Prior to Agyemang’s goal, Emmanuel Jalai and Shadreck Nyahwa are the two players who had scored for Dynamos this season.
They have now scored a total of four goals and the other one was recorded as an own goal from a TelOne defender.
Elsewhere, FC Platinum registered their 11th draw of the campaign after their 1-1 draw against Yadah.
The four-time league champions had no one but themselves to blame for walking away with a point as their strikers took turns to miss good chances in the first 15 minutes of the game.
The Miracle Boys had their chances, too, including Vincent Sango’s second-half missed opportunity when he had only keeper, Wallace Magalane, to beat after being set up by Innocent Mucheneka.
Norman Mapeza believes it is just a matter of time before his troops start collecting maximum points.
“We have a young squad who are still learning, what is important for us is to keep believing that we will break the jinx.
“We need to bury clear-cut chances and we had many against Yadah but we failed to get goals,” said Mapeza.
