Air Zimbabwe Management team has convened a meeting to review the airline’s operational performance in preparation for the scheduled Strategy Review, which will assess progress and performance against the objectives of the Air Zimbabwe Strategy 2026–2030.

Addressing the meeting, the airline’s chief executive officer, Mr Edmund Makona, said the session was not just about reviewing figures and activities, but about taking an honest and strategic assessment of whether the airline remains on course to fulfil its mandate.

He emphasised that the review must strengthen accountability, sharpen execution and ensure that every part of the organisation remains aligned with its strategic priorities.

Mr Makona also reiterated that Air Zimbabwe remains committed to strengthening its contribution to national development through the provision of safe, reliable and efficient air transport, while ensuring that the airline’s strategic priorities translate into tangible and sustainable results.
