His relationship with Bonang Matheba has hit stormy waters and he has moved out of her apartment in Hyde Park, Joburg. He has now landed in his best friend, Da L.e.s.’s house.
“He’s been staying over at L.e.s.’s in Bryanston,” claimed a source. Another source said he still visits his daughter at DJ Zinhle’s house. “He sometimes sleeps at Zinhle’s to see the baby,” said the source. The source said Zinhle is not bitter about the situation. “She was damn hurt. You must remember she found out through industry people and also found gifts in AKA’s car.
“Leslie’s house is big enough, there’re plenty of rooms. It’s not that AKA can’t afford his own place, it’s just that he’s in a bad space, everything’s happening at once,” said the source, who described Leslie (Da L.e.s.) and AKA as brothers. The source added AKA was looking for his own place adding that he wants to be close to his daughter.
Sunday Sun learnt that AKA was angry at Zinhle for releasing a statement, but Zinhle was not trying to get revenge. “She just wants to empower other women who’re going through the same. What pissed Zinhle off was that she posted something on one of her social network pages and Bonang saw it and SMSed AKA. She told him to tell his baby mama to take it off otherwise she would show Zinhle flames.
“AKA forwarded the SMS to Zinhle, who responded by confirming their relationship on social media,” said the source. Meanwhile, Mzansi’s “it girl” Bonang Matheba is suing DJ Zinhle for defamation after their public spat over rapper AKA got nasty this week. Matheba’s lawyers sent DJ Zinhle, real name Ntombezinhle Jiyane, a letter demanding she apologise to the Metro FM and Top Billing presenter.
