adminCAPE TOWN – After failing to beat Orlando Pirates on two occasions, Al Ahly head coach, Mohamed Youssef, revealed his desire to face the Buccaneers for a third time – in the 2013 Caf Champions League final. Pirates collected four points against the seven-time champions, but finished the group as runners-up which will see them lock horns in the semi-finals against Tunisian giants, Esperance.
“There is a big possibility that we can meet again in the final with all the four teams left (as) it is,” Youssef told the Kick-Off website.
Youssef (42) also wished the Happy People luck for their MTN8 semi-final second leg clash against perennial rivals, Kaizer Chiefs, today.
He said he cherished squaring up against his contemporary at Pirates, Roger de Sa.
“At the end we just want to thank coach Roger and wish him the best against their match against Kaizer Chiefs.
The Buccaneers will host Esperance in the Caf Champions League first leg at Orlando Stadium next week, but prior to that they have to finish what they started locally, playing the second leg of the R8m competition.
They have the upper hand heading into this match, after winning the first leg 1-0, courtesy of a superb free-kick by Daine Klate.-Sport24.
