Album for cyclone victims

THE Zimbabwe Musicians and General Arts Trustee (Zimgat) will be having a CD launch in Harare at the end of the month to raise funds for victims of Cyclone Idai.

The launch will be held on 29 September for the CD titled “S.O.S Jehovah save the world”. The day of the launch will have 100 copies to be sold on auction.

The leader of the group, Matias Kush, said they invited the ambassador for the Zimbabwe Red Cross musician Alick Macheso, churches, companies, Government officials, among others to attend. He said the event was also open to the public.

“Zimgat has recorded a music CD, under the World United Musicians for the Cyclone Idai and Kenneth victims titled S.OS. Jehovah save the world.

All royalties accrued from this production will be used to buy school books for the children who survived the tragedy.”
