All-Africa Challenge golf tourney tees off today

tournament is being held in the country for the first time since its inception six years ago.

The hosts are backing on recently crowned Zambia woman champion Claire Minter who will be supported by Rumbi Masamvu and Batsirai Tilowakuti.
Two-time winners and pre-tournament favourites South Africa will be powered by captain Alana van Greuning, Nicole Becker, and Nicola Garcia who showed their class during yesterday’s practice round.

Botswana, who hosted the tournament at its inception in 2007, will be represented by Minkie Molatlhegi, Patience Matlotse, Itumuleng Medupe and Sandra Hughes who is the president and team manager.
Angola has two representatives in president and team manager Maria de Fatima Duarte and Maria Joao Catita.

Bonita Bredenhann, Maryke Short, Wilna Bredenhann, president and team manager, and Heidi van Riekerk, will represent Namibia.
