Today, the teams will be battling windy conditions, making every shot a test of skill and strategy.
“The wind is going to make every shot tricky. Players will need to adjust their swings, club selection, and overall strategy to compensate for the gusts. It’s not just about hitting the ball far, but also accurately and with control,” said golf expert, and Zim Open Committee Member Mike Mahachi.
Zimbabwe coach, Simon Murungweni emphasised the importance of adapting to the conditions.

“Our boys need to stay focused and flexible, taking into account the wind’s effect on each shot. We have been working on our mental game and course management, but this wind will push our players to their limits,” he said.
Zimbabwe have a team score of one-over-par-433, a massive 15 strokes behind leaders South Africa on 14-under-par-418.
