All set for all-female music gala

CRESTA Oasis Hotel will host a fundraising dinner to support an all-female musical gala being organised by Divas in Action on Friday.

The concert will take place on Saturday at the late Oliver Mtukudzi’s Pakare Paye in Norton.

The concert will feature Attalia Parehwa, Bridget Mlambo, Beauty Katiji, Caychi, Natasha Muz, Jully Bee, Precious Lady Bimma Mujibha, Flame Lily, Shantel Sithole, Fadzie Kays, Cee Kay, Vani Timbe, Patricia Sipanera and Sarah Dee.

The fundraising dinner is open to anyone wishing to support the growth of female artists in Zimbabwe, and corporates have been urged to support female artists.

The event offers an opportunity for partners to market their brands and expand the music industry in a fair and user-friendly environment for both male and female artists.

Sarah Dee said any help would go a long way in ensuring the growth of female artists in the country.

“We have started selling tickets in advance for anyone who wants to come and support us. So far, the response has been quite overwhelming,” she said.

Sarah Dee believes that the fundraising dinner will provide a platform for various partners to market their brands.

“They know they can expand this industry if the working environment is user friendly and fair for all artists,” she said.
