Dance groups Pasichigare and Chipawo will present various acts.

The performances will be held on four different stages throughout the day.

JAFEM is a brainchild of Junction 24 proprietor Tavepi Madzingire who said he would hold the free festival to give exposure to artists of various genres and give art followers an opportunity to appreciate creativity in the country.

“This is a free festival. There are many stages and art lovers will be able to choose events they enjoy and support their artists,” said Madzingire.

“It will also be a time for families to have fun with their art icons and for artists to get personal with their fans.  This is a space for fun and entertainment and we intend to build a good relationship between artists and their followers.

“We made it an all-day event to accommodate fans of various ages and to create an environment conducive for family outing.”

Madzingire said many games for children will be held to add fun to the festival and make it an ideal family outing.
