All set for Bridal Gala

The quartet, a calculated combination by the organisers of the show to capture different audiences, is set to enchant music fans. Suluman, who is currently enjoying the “Sean Timba” fame, is the most sought after musician in the country while Kawara commands a sizeable number of fans which includes young and old musical fans.

Songbird Pasinawako completes her comeback at the Bridal Gala with an expected class act to an audience mainly dominated by families.
However, it is Harare’s own version of Iyasa, Apama Styles, which is set to steal the show. The theatrical dance outfit has enthralled audiences throughout the country with their classic performances and this Saturday the group is expected to do what they know best in front of an expected bumper crowd.

The Bridal Gala, which will climax with the crowning of a new bridal queen, has many other elevated points.
There will also be prizes for the Cake of the Year, Baker of the Year and the Photographer of the Year. The premier event will for the first time in its history run alongside a Bridal Expo which will be held at Africa Unity Square from 9am to 4.30pm on the same day.

More than 45 exhibitors have confirmed their participation at the Bridal Expo.
The expo will give prospective brides and grooms an opportunity to meet with wedding vendors from co-ordinators, travel agents, florists, wedding cake designers, wedding dresses and tuxedos to caterers and many others who will showcase their products to couples as they plan their weddings.

Star FM will provide entertainment during the entirety of the expo with the assistance from a marimba band, Tamba Marimba.
Charity Gwata-Chirume, the Sunday Mail business manager, promised that this year’s event would be bigger and better.

“Every year we strive to do better and I believe that with our line-up of performances, prizes for the brides and the glitz, the show will definitely be a success,” declared Gwata-Chirume.

“We are certain that the Bridal Expo will definitely add the glamour to our annual event.”
Star FM’s Tich Mataz and Tariro will be the masters of ceremonies during the Bridal Gala. The Sunday Mail Bridal Gala, which is arguably one of the top family shows on the showbiz calendar, will cost US$10 and US$5 for adults and children respectively.
