All Share Index extends losses

HARARE – The Zimbabwe Stock Exchange’s All Share index lost a further 0.06 points (or 0, 07 percent) to close at 86.16 as four counters lost ground.

Meikles led the losers, easing $0, 0273 to trade at $0, 2700, while cement producer PPC slipped $0, 0156 to $0, 9338 and CBZ went down by $0, 0035 to end at $0, 1000.

Heavyweight Delta Beverages inched down $0, 0002 to settle at $1, 5600.

Gains were seen in three counters as giant insurer Old Mutual added $0, 0239 to close at $5, 4500, while Axia Corporation rose by $0, 0053 to $0, 1901 and Hippo Valley was marginally up by $0, 0002 to close at $1, 6800. – BH24 Reporter
