Ambitious FC Maranda eye Division 1

AMBITIOUS Zifa Matabeleland South Division Two Soccer League Pool B side FC Maranda are confident of toppling leaders Takezawa United despite their 0-0 draw at the weekend.
FC Maranda who are based in Mwenezi, are second on the eight-team table with 17 points, one behind Takezawa United with just five matches left before the season ends. The director of FC Maranda, Ephat Shoko, said they are inspired by championship contenders in the Zifa Southern Region Division One Soccer League, Tsholotsho FC.
