THEY were the special guests of the US$100 000 wedding.
The chosen ones who got the VVIP ring seats at Mai TT’s wedding.
Now, as the marriage collapses, in spectacular fashion, what are all these people saying right now?
Were they deceived, taken for a ride to grave a fantasy disguised as a wedding?
Noone would have anticipated the end of Mai TT and Tinashe Maphosa’s marriage in just four months.
Who would have thought the marriage would crumble, like the walls of Jericho, considering the class of people she invited?

Only 400 people were invited, with the majority of her fans and followers, following proceedings on the internet.
The wedding ceremony was a massive event, drawing top celebrities from as far as the United Kingdom and South Africa.
So extravagant was the wedding that she invited Kelly Khumalo, a controversial South African musician, who has also not been so lucky in finding love.
Most of her relationships have endured tragic, or dramatic endings, with three of her ex-boyfriends, having been married.
Her former boyfriend, football star, Senzo Meyiwa, was shot and killed, shortly after visiting her.
Meyiwa was married.
Kelly put up a top performance at the wedding.
As she reads the collapse of the wedding, what could she be thinking right now?
Maybe, she will be thinking that, just like her relationships, this was meant to fail.

Or she could include this in her reality TV show.
Among local musicians, who performed at the glamorous wedding, were Freeman, Sandra Ndebele, Stunner, Killer T and Enzo Ishall.
Maybe, some of them are busy putting together a song, for this failed marriage and the motormouth comedienne.
Baba Harare, Jonah Chivasa, Lorraine Guyo, Mudiwa Hood, Bee Wezhira, Anna Honde and Faith Candy, among other artists, also graced the event.
Guyo, of the ‘Ndinyengeiwo’ stunt, will probably be hoping that, when she eventually ties the knot, her union will take longer than this farce.
Zim dancehall chanter Buffalo Souljah also attended the wedding, flying in from South Africa.
Businesswoman Zodwa Mkandla showered the estranged couple with a trip to the Indian Ocean island of Maldives.
Nobody could have imagined it back then but the marriage was already being hit by turbulence.
Just like a boat caught in an Indian Ocean tropical storm.
