ONE time lovers Roki and Ammara Brown say they are better as music colleagues than they were as lovers.
Roki told B-Metro that even after going their separate ways intimately they have remained civil and professional towards each other.
“We are not like everyone else who would stop communicating with their ex-lovers. Ammara and I are good friends and we still work very well together,” said Roki.
It sounds uncomfortable for ex-lovers to work together without getting feelings mixed up but the two are willing to take the less trodden path.
Roki says they do not mix work with pleasure.
“During our romantic relationship we did not mix work with pleasure, that is why it has been easy for us to move on without bitterness and continue working together,” he added.
Ammara and Roki worked together before and after they were involved in a romantic relationship and their recent project was when Roki was one of the producers of Ammara’s album in 2017.
The Chidzoka hitmaker is lined up for Ammara’s charity show that will take place in Malawi during the weekend. The show will also have other different artistes from across Africa.
Roki fell from grace after having some baby mama drama that led him to relocate from city life to his rural place Seke.
