Another girl molested on moving bus in India

on a moving government-run bus on Saturday night in Tansen Marg district of New Delhi, reported The Times of India online edition yesterday.

The girl was spotted crying on the bus by cops, when the driver stopped at a police post to inquire about way, according to the newspaper. The cops have arrested the accused, Ranjeet, and detained the driver of the bus.

Thousands of protesters held rallies in the Indian capital and some other cities on Saturday to demand justice for Nirbhaya, the 23-year-old gang-rape victim who died at a hospital in Singapre after fighting for life for nearly 13 days. She was gang-raped and brutalised by six men on a moving bus in south Delhi on December 16. — Xinhua.
