THE journey to safety took another step in the right direction for Manica Diamonds after bagging a precious point when they held Bulawayo Chiefs to a goalless draw in this afternoon’s Castle Lager Premiership match at Babourfields Stadium.
The result eases their relegation worries as they are now tied on 11 points with newcomers, Agama, who occupy the last safe spot on 14th position after 15 matches.

The Gem Boys are in 16th place owing to an inferior goal difference.
They are sandwich debutants, FC Hunters, who are also level on points.
Meanwhile, tear-away winger, Charles “Teko” Teguru, was named player-of-the-match after another outstanding performance although he could not inspire his team to victory.
He walked away with the US$200 prize money.
