Zimbabwe is gearing up for this year’s Anti-Sanctions Gala, an all-night celebration of culture and resilience set for this Saturdayat the Heritage Village, African Liberation Museum.
Running from 6 PM to 6 AM, the event will bring together some of the country’s top artists in a showcase of music, heritage and national pride.
Held under the theme “Inclusive Development through Heritage-based Innovation and Industrialisation, in a Multilateral World,” the 2025 Gala aims to highlight Zimbabwe’s creative spirit and determination to thrive despite economic challenges linked to sanctions.

The star-studded line-up features Andy Muridzo, Agatha Murudzwa, Chief Hwenje, Jah Master, Sandra Ndebele, Cynthia Mare, Jah Signal, Cello Culture, Iyasa, Simon Mutambi, Shantel Sithole, Sasha Madube, Clemence Magwaza, Khonan’ale, Mbare Chimurenga and the ZRP Band.
From gospel to Afro-fusion, traditional to contemporary sounds, the artists will perform across genres that reflect the diversity and depth of Zimbabwean music. Each act will contribute to the night’s overarching message of unity, empowerment and home-grown innovation.

The Heritage Village setting—home to the African Liberation Museum—adds symbolic weight to the occasion, reminding audiences of the continent’s rich history and ongoing struggle for self-determination.
Beyond entertainment, the Anti-Sanctions Gala stands as a cultural statement, celebrating Zimbabwe’s ability to harness creativity for inclusive national development. With its blend of music, art and reflection, the 2025 edition is expected to draw thousands of attendees and millions more watching online and on television.
