Archers extend championship lead

BULAWAYO Metropolitan Darts League defending champions Archers maintained their crucial lead by beating Highlanders 29-10 at Archers on Wednesday night.
Ernest “Maphepha” Sibanda, the Archers team captain said that they are confident of retaining the championship.

“We are very confident that we will maintain our good form in the remaining three games of the season,” said Sibanda

He said there is no room for any mistakes with Railstars trailing with a close dart difference.

“It is not going to be an easy run in the remaining three games especially when we are tied on points with Railstars,” he said.

Meanwhile, in other matches Bellevue’s home advantage paid off winning 21-18 against How Mine with Fairbridge Support Unit thumping Parkview Kanka 25-14 while Railstars beat Khami 28-11.
