“THEN he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the Lord, and Satan standing at his right side to resist him.
The Lord said to Satan, ‘The Lord rebuke you, Satan! The Lord, who has chosen Jerusalem, rebuke you! Is not this man a burning stick snatched from the fire?” — Zechariah 3:1-2
Being a child of God should automatically make you aware of how powerful you are. How dare Satan comes to resist Joshua while he was ministering? Every demon meant to disturb you in your assignment and every evil spirit sent to oppose and frustrate you, the Lord rebukes. The exciting part is that God will rebuke the demonic forces on your behalf.
It is not your effort but His.
Zechariah quotes the Lord addressing this situation by rebuking Satan, telling him: “Is this not a brand plucked from the fire?”
Why should sickness, poverty, fear or barrenness grip a child of God? As one who is a brand plucked from the fire, I declare the Lord’s rebuke on all these negative aspects in Jesus’ name.
You are anointed to break demonic resistance in your life.
No devil shall succeed in his mischief against the children of God, in the name of Jesus Christ.
Do you not have any previous testimonies of God’s favour on your life? Are you not a brand plucked from the fire?
