In what is becoming a troubling trend, five armed robbers recently stormed a church in Harare and got away with tens of thousands of dollars.
In a statement released on X (formerly Twitter), the Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP:) said five male suspects armed with a pistol and wearing balaclavas got away with US$54,000 kept in a safe after overpowering two security guards who were manning the church premises.
