A number of bodybuilders from Bulawayo and Harare recently travelled to Johannesburg, South Africa for the Arnold Classic Africa bodybuilding contest which attracted athletes from all over the world.
Reigning Miss Zimbabwe, Regina Jonga, who is based in South Africa, finished 6th in the Women’s Physic (up to 163cm category), Bulawayo’s Lovemore Munyamana finished fifth in the Men’s Bodybuilding (up to/inc 70 kg category), Precious Mujuru who is based in Harare, finished fourth in the Women’s body fitness (up to 158cm category). The competitors had a chance to meet world acclaimed American bodybuilder and actor Arnold Schwarzenegger, the face behind the contest.
