Following in the footsteps of Brian Soko whose work on Beyoncea��s Drunk in Love won him a prestigious Grammy award in 2014, Zimbabwean producer Tatenda a�?T-Collara�? Sibanda has been nominated for a Grammy for a song he co-produced for the blockbuster movie Suicide Squada��s soundtrack.
The moviea��s much lauded soundtrack, titled Suicide Squad: The Album was nominated for best Soundtrack Visual Media Grammy award, for the ceremony which is set to be held next year.
World music luminaries like Drake, Beyonce and Adele led with the number of nominations when contenders were announced on Tuesday.
T-Collar is credited as a co-writer on the Kevin Gates song titled Know Better while he is also credited as a co-producer on the track alongside JMIKE.
Reacting to the news, T-Collar, who was on his way to Zimbabwe when the nominations were announced, could not contain his excitement of walking away a Grammy winner in a few months time.

The 24-year-old T-Collar moved to the United States to pursue his music ambitions after finishing high school back in Zimbabwe.
In the past, the Harare-born Full Sail University graduate has given a nod to American legend Timbaland as the one producer to have influenced his craft which has already seen him bag one hit in the form of Chris Brown and Rita Oraa��s Body On Me.
